Terms and Conditions

Registration & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to confirmation. This application is considered binding, and the agreement becomes effective upon receipt of your confirmation email. Registration entitles you to access the event for which you have registered; all associated costs (e.g. travel or accommodation) are the responsibility of the attendee.

These terms and conditions refer to bookings related to BETA’s training programmes

Payments

Full payment should be made at the time of registration or at least within a 7-day period. Registration fees that remain unpaid prior are at the risk of automatic cancellation by the organiser.

All fees are payable in GBP (£) as indicated on the registration form and invoice, by credit card or bank transfer. Payment is required prior to the event.

BETA Members

BETA Members must have a fully paid-up membership for the period leading up to and covering the duration of the event. If you have yet to pay your subscription fees for the period 2026/27 or need support, please contact payments@betauk.com

Cancellation policy

Participants can cancel their booking at any time. Cancellations must be made in writing to events@betauk.com. The following fees will apply. Substitutions are allowed.

Up to 4 weeks before the date of the training course: FREE
Up to 3 weeks before the date of the training course: 50%
Up to 2 weeks before the date of the training course: 100%

Use of Attendee Data

The attendee list is the intellectual property of BETA and is provided solely for event participation. It may not be stored, duplicated, or shared with third parties.

Photography, Filming & Media Release

By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree that BETA may record, photograph, livestream, or otherwise capture your likeness. You grant BETA full rights to use this content in any media, globally and in perpetuity, without further approval or compensation. This includes editing, repurposing, and distribution by third parties as deemed appropriate by BETA.

Event Changes & Force Majeure

BETA reserves the right to modify any aspects of the event, including but not limited to the name, theme, programme, speakers, venue, and timing.

BETA accepts no responsibility for delays, system failures, or personal circumstances that prevent attendance. We strongly recommend that attendees purchase travel insurance to cover any non-refundable expenses in case of illness, transport delays, or other unforeseen events.
