The British Educational Travel Association (BETA) has announced the shortlist for the 2026 British Youth Travel Awards, recognising the organisations and individuals delivering outstanding experiences for young travellers.

Finalists have been named in 12 categories, including accommodation, education, visitor experiences, transport, innovation and sustainability. The Outstanding Achievement Award also honours individual contributions to the sector.

The finalists were selected by an independent judging panel drawn from fields including education, marketing, technology and sustainability. The awards hold Advanced Awards Trust Mark accreditation for their judging standards and transparency.

Emma English OBE, Executive Director of BETA, said:

Being shortlisted is an achievement in itself. These awards recognise the work that goes into giving young people rewarding travel and learning experiences, and the teams who make that happen.

Congratulations to all our finalists, and thank you to everyone who entered and to our judges for the time and expertise they have given to the process. We look forward to celebrating with the sector in November.

Geoff Ramm, a judge for the Best Customer Service category, added:

The entries for Best Customer Service were simply outstanding! Every single entry had a wonderful service culture running through their business. What I loved to read were some of the personal stories where teams came together to create service magic. Congratulations to everyone who makes a difference.

The winners will be revealed on Monday 30 November 2026 at The Underglobe, Shakespeare’s Globe, London. The evening will also support the Family Holiday Charity.
