With the addition of 3 centres in China to its award-winning summer camps, Embassy Summer will now be available in 22 locations across 7 countries.

Lisa James, Managing Director, said

This is a very exciting expansion for us as it means that our Embassy Summer programmes will be accessible to a much wider and younger audience in China, historically a key market for junior English language summer programmes, and a country where we have close ties and excellent longstanding partnerships.

Embassy Summer is offering 3 locations in China to its partner agents this summer, Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou. Shanghai will be open to international students, welcoming students from all over the world, and will offer both English- and Mandarin-language course options. The beautiful cities of Chengdu and Guangzhou will be available to the domestic Chinese market only initially; however, the award-winning summer camp provider expects to expand quickly, with most of its locations being available to the international market in the future. All 3 centres will be completely bilingual English-Mandarin centres providing a perfect environment in which to learn, meet new people and have lots of fun!

Lisa James, Managing Director, continued

With China being such an important market for us it made perfect sense to explore this wonderful country as somewhere we could take our experience and deliver the programmes we have become famous for over the past 50+ years . What’s more, our partner schools in China offer state of the art facilities not readily available in most of our current locations and this will also help us to further expand our product offering too

The 3 new centres will open their doors in July 2026, and with many countries now able to take advantage of up to 30 days visa-free travel to China, it is a perfect time to experience all that this captivating country has to offer, in its culture, its language, its people and its landscapes!

Embassy Summer, under its parent company EC English, delivers rewarding English, Spanish, and now Mandarin programmes for young learners aged 7-17, providing memorable experiences for students from all over the world. For more information about its new centres in China, please visit:
