British Youth Travel Awards Terms & Conditions

Eligibility & Entry Fees
  • The British Youth Travel Awards are open to both BETA members and non-members.
  • BETA Members: Free to enter
  • Non-members are required to pay an entry fee of £125 + VAT per submission.
  • The entry fee is applicable per entry, not per organisation.
  • All entries must be submitted via the official entry portal and accompanied by full payment.
Payments
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of entry submission or within 14 days of submission and no later than 18th September 2026.
  • Entries that remain unpaid after this deadline will be deemed invalid and will not be presented to the judging panel.
  • Accepted payment methods: PayPal (recommended)
Refund & Cancellation policy
  • No refunds will be issued for award entries under any circumstances.
  • There are no cancellation terms applicable to award entries.
  • Submitting an entry constitutes a commitment to pay the full fee.

BETA Members

BETA Members that are taking advantage of the ‘Members Enter Free’ must have a fully paid up membership for the period leading up to and covering the duration of the event. If you have yet to pay your subscription fees for the period 2026/27 or need support, please contact payments@betauk.com

Entry Process
  • BETA reserves the right to reject any entry at its sole discretion without providing a reason.
  • Entries will only be submitted for judging once full payment has been received and confirmed.
  • Your entry fee covers the administration and assessment of your entry by the judging panel.
  • Any additional costs (e.g. supporting materials, media production) must be covered by the entrant.
Judging & Awards
  • The decision of the judging panel is final.
  • BETA reserves the right to move entries to different categories or amend judging criteria if deemed necessary.
System & Technical Issues
  • BETA is not responsible for any individual delays, technical malfunctions, or system failures during the entry process.
  • In such circumstances, no refund or extension will be granted.
General
  • By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • BETA reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the event website.
