Immersive Summer 2027 programmes will connect international students with leading sports organisations, iconic venues and real-world industry challenges.

Anglo Educational Services (AES) has launched a new portfolio of Elite UK Sports Programmes, offering international students an immersive introduction to the business, culture and global influence of the UK sports industry.

Delivered across Manchester and London, the programmes combine academic and professional development with behind-the-scenes industry access, cultural exploration and live sporting experiences. Students may engage with Premier League football clubs, iconic venues, sports media organisations, community initiatives, executives and professionals working across the sector.

A signature feature is the AES Industry Consulting Project. Working in multidisciplinary teams, students tackle a genuine challenge presented by a sports organisation. They conduct research, analyse real-world information and develop evidence-based recommendations before presenting their final solutions to an industry panel. This approach enables students to strengthen valuable career competencies, including teamwork, communication, critical thinking, leadership and strategic problem-solving.

Craig Kench, Chief Partnerships and Development Officer at AES, said:

Sport has a unique ability to connect people, communities and cultures across borders. By combining this global platform with purposeful academic design, professional engagement and real-world problem-solving, we can create transformative experiences that broaden students’ perspectives, strengthen their career readiness and prepare them to become thoughtful contributors to an interconnected world.

Programme options include a three-week Manchester Sports Experience, a combined Manchester and London programme, and an extended four-week UK experience. Packages include accommodation, orientations, local travel, professional workshops, industry visits, cultural activities, selected sporting fixtures and 24-hour student support.

The programmes have been designed for students interested in sport management, business, marketing, media, communications, events, community development and related disciplines. They can also be tailored in collaboration with universities and educational travel partners to support specific academic objectives and student interests.

Through these new programmes, AES is helping international students experience the breadth of the UK beyond the traditional classroom while showcasing Manchester and London as globally significant centres for sport, business, media and innovation.
