Impact Explorers, global learning and travel provider, today announces its certification as a B Corporation, joining a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact.

Founded in 2007 and operating across Asia, Africa, Latin America, Australasia and Europe, Impact Explorers comprises two distinct brands – community-based and skills-led volunteering operator, Volunteering Solutions, and specialist provider of international medical electives and healthcare internships, MedTrips.

Impact Explorers works closely with local partners, NGOs, schools and healthcare institutions to ensure programmes are ethical, sustainable and beneficial to host communities, prioritising accessibility, transparency, participant safety and long-term community impact.

Saurabh Sabharwal, CEO & founder of Impact Explorers, says:

Since inception 17 years ago we have been committed to measuring and continually improving the social and environmental

impact of our programmes, many of which are co-created with local organisations to ensure relevance, sustainability, and mutual benefit.

Our volunteers and participants work collaboratively, alongside existing communities and staff at local NGOs, schools and health clinics, boosting local employment and capacity, benefitting users in the short and long term, and proving that travel abroad can be so much more than cultural immersion.

Our wide range of programmes provide much needed support for under-resourced or underprivileged communities, contributing labour, teaching skills, promoting awareness and, in some instances, even bolstering funding or supplying materials.

Receiving B Corpâ„¢ certification is evidence of our founding mission to create meaningful opportunities that foster global understanding and positive change.

We are beyond honoured to receive this certification which is testament to the passion and consistent hard work of our team.

B Corp™ certification is a global movement of People Using Business as a Force for Good®. The designation ensures that a business is meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency across a range of factors including social and environmental performance.
