The Royal Liver Building takes pride of place on Liverpool’s world-renowned Waterfront as one of its’ Three Graces.
Visitors will experience a Royal Liver Building 360 fully guided tour and discover the secrets of the city’s iconic building as well as visiting two of its most famous residents, The Liver Birds. Standing at over 18ft tall and weighing 4 tonnes these majestic sculptures sit atop of the towers of the building looking out over the city and the River Mersey.
Our guides bring the history of the building to life and share stories about the construction and design, the legendary Liver Birds and the unfortunate story of their sculptor. Visitors can also explore the original mechanism room of the largest electronically driven clocks in the UK and enjoy a 270-degree immersive audio-visual experience bringing the history of Liverpool to life.
On the rooftop visitors marvel at the sweeping panoramic views that stretch across the vibrant cityscape taking in the Royal Albert Dock, Europe’s largest collection of Grade 1 Listed buildings and see over to the cruise terminal, the River Mersey and reach out to North Wales and the Irish Sea.
