Generator announces Xavier Mufraggi as new Chief Executive Officer

We’re delighted to announce Xavier Mufraggi as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Xavier brings more than two decades of international leadership across hospitality, private equity and consumer brands, including most recently, 12 years leading Club Med’s North America & Caribbean and EMEA markets.

He joins us following Brookfield’s acquisition for 776m euros, as we enter our next phase of international growth, including three new openings on the horizon, 11 renovations throughout 2026–27, and ambitions to double our footprint by 2030.

Xavier’s appointment comes as we continue to deliver on our mission to keep city travel affordable, through design-led spaces rooted in local culture and genuine human connection – adding the host back into hospitality.
